Dear HC, I'm eight months past my double mastectomy, and prepping now for reconstruction surgery. I had the surgery first, back in May, then another surgery to remove more lymph nodes on my left side. Then came 12 weeks of chemo, hair loss, and 25 sessions of radiation treatments. It's been a month since the last one, and now I'm 4 months away from reconstruction surgery. You get through it and go on. You'll do well.
