Funny, I'm a white army brat from Mississippi. Second generation sharecropper stock. Oldest of six kids. My folks didn't get four turns around the monopoly board ahead of anyone. All of us managed to make it out of poverty the hard way. So no, I don't buy into white privilege, at least not completely. Your article makes me think there might be more to it than I thought.
